Toyota Goes Carbon Fiber

Toyota is looking to use carbon fiber in the production of vehicle chassis. This will cut down on weight in some of their future high performance vehicles, such as the possible FT-86 concept. Here's more from the official press release:

Toyota Captures Edmunds.com Awards

Four Toyota vehicles today took the top spot in the Edmund.com lowest True Cost to Own® vehicle awards for 2010. The Toyota Yaris sub-compact took home two awards, for Coupes under $25,000 and for Sedans under $15,000. The Tacoma won in the Compact Truck category and the Sienna in the Minivan/Van segment.
