It's an exciting time at Japanese auto maker Toyota. They have just introduced a very special pickup truck, one you might just find in stock at Mark Miller Toyota Downtown in Salt Lake City, next year.

The all off-road, super powerful and tough Toyota Tacoma T/X Baja Edition has been unveiled!

It was first shown off at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. "It's the type of truck that will shine in a Texas ranch environment, or on a Midwest hunting trip, off the highway in a California desert, or anywhere, east or west, where the roads are rugged," said Toyota division boss Bob Carter.¹

Tacoma Baja has Toyota's TRD Off-Road package. This includes electronically controlled locking rear differential, Active Traction Control, Hill Start and Downhill Assist Controls. Baja Edition also comes with BF Goodrich T/A KO tires wrapped around off-road wheels in a gunmetal gray and Baja Series graphics.

Baja rides two inches higher than a stock Tacoma, on large coil springs and racing shocks on the front and rear suspension.

T/X Baja Series will be available on the Tacoma Access Double Cab 4-by-4 models equipped with TRD Off-Road Package. The truck will hit a limited two-month production cycle in the spring of 2012.
