Toyota to Sponsor Englishtown NHRA Full Throttle Event

"Vroom, vroom" may not be the official slogan for Japanese automaker Toyota, but maybe it should be. Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A recently lengthened its participation in NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing, by becoming the title-rights sponsor of the Englishtown event held May 31-June 3, the Toyota NHRA SuperNationals.

Toyota NS4 Concept Adds to Hybrid Line

Toyota already has a best-selling line of hybrid vehicles in the Toyota Prius, but it still isn't satisfied. It seems there is more work to be done and more vehicles to be produced for the company to be happy about its fuel-efficient offerings. That's why the automaker launched its 2013 NS4 Concept at the recent 2012 Detroit Auto Show.

Toyota Gives Back for Holidays

You won't find a single Grinch at Toyota this holiday season. The Japanese automaker is giving back in a big way, and they've even recruited some extra help to do so!

More specifically, Toyota turned to automotive auctioning companies ADESA and Norwalk Auction Venues for a little help in raising funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. From November 25th to December 19th, whenever a Toyota vehicle sold at either a ADESA or Norwalk Auction event, Toyota would make a $50 donation to the local Boys & Girls Club branch where the vehicle sold. It seems…

Toyota Fans Share on The Camry Effect

There are people who love their car, then there are Camry owners. Toyota knows that their mid-size sedan carries more driver loyalty than almost any other vehicle on the road today, which is they've created a new website that allows visitors to share their love for the Camry, no matter what their level of interaction with it.

That's right, the Camry Effect isn't just a website for owners. Rather it's open to the general public. The site would be a bit self-serving if it was only open to people who own a Camry, right?. The point…

Tracks that have featured the Camry as…

Toyota NA Production Levels Normalize

To say 2011 has been a tough year for Toyota would be a huge understatement. But, Toyota has found a way to prevail despite adversity. Just six months after Japan was destroyed by a back-to-back earthquake and tsunami, they're seeing a big break in the clouds. North American production levels have returned to normal levels, approximately three months before official forecasts.

The catalyst, of course, was the earlier-than-expected return to normal production levels in Japan.  With the necessary Toyota parts in stock, Toyota's North American plants were able to resume manufacturing Toyota models at pre-disaster pace. This includes…

Toyota Yaris After Youth Market

With a low base price and plenty of miles per gallon, the Japanese auto maker is successful at  targeting their 2012 Toyota Yaris to the youth market. Every student needs a car to get to and from those college courses, or for picking up friends.
